Charles Hargenrader
Charles grew up in Northwestern Pennsylvania in the Allegheny mountain region. He discovered early on that he enjoyed working with wood. Growing up in an area where very large cherry trees are harvested he started making furniture as a hobby. Charles has lived in Colorado, Great Britain, Florida, New Jersey, Germany, & now the great State of Maine where he is a pastor of the Nazarene Church in Livermore Falls. Being a lover of the outdoors has helped him appreciate the splendor of creation, and has helped inspire his work fashioned on his wood lathe. His creations of wood turnings are reflections of the beauty that is enjoyed in his nature loving experiences throughout the world. Charles is a member of the American Association of Wood turners, Western Mountain Wood turners, Maine Wood turners. |
